The Penticton Vees 1st WHL win streak came to an end yesterday afternoon at the South Okanagan Events Centre, but, an overtime loss keeps the Vees’ point streak going at 5!

The Vees picked up their 1st ever win over their Okanagan rivals, by rallying from a 3-2 deficit to come back and win 5-3 on Saturday night at the SOEC. Matteo Danis paced the way with a hat-trick for the Vees, while Brittan Alstead and Chase Valliant also tallied for Penticton. Callum Stone had a strong game too, chipping in with 3 assists.

A back and forth afternoon affair at the SOEC on Thanksgiving Monday saw Heath Nelson score 70 seconds into the extra frame, giving the Royals a 3-2 win. Tristan Petersen and Brady Birnie scored for Penticton, who, despite the loss, kept their point streak going at 5.
